When choosing your wire words or art, you will be prompted to choose either a floating or flat finish and which you choose determines how you actually hang them on the wall. Here's what to expect of each:
Floating
This is the favoured finish for our products. It's dead simple to install and there is no additional cost.
Your phrase will have a little extra wire at the start and end of the phrase, bent backwards at 90° ready for installation.
All you need to do to create the floating effect is drill 2 small holes into the wall where the ends meet the wall (hold the piece up to the wall and mark it with a pencil), and then slot the wire ends halfway into the holes. Et voila, your piece is now floating.
P.S You can play with the shadows created around the piece by altering how much of the wire ends are pushed into the wall.
Flat
Don’t fancy drilling into your walls? No problem! This option means you can use Command Hooks or nails to hang your piece from the wall. This option is popular for those looking to buy a Briar Rose Wire piece as a gift. The flat finish even allows you to frame our work!
